Lagardere Plus is seeking a Data & Insights Manager based in its US HQ in NYC. The role will have two primary functions: 1) to service the day-to-day needs of a specific major brand client in data management and analysis around a global sports and entertainment sponsorship governance portfolio; 2) to support the Director of Data & Insights in developing research and analytics offerings for LSE brand and property clients in the sponsorship space. Candidates should have interest and aptitude in three disciplines:



The Manager should have a sense of how to use data (both structured and unstructured) to solve problems for clients and to support LSE business initiatives. Comfort with building, cleaning, and manipulating datasets in excel is required; experience with relational databases, statistical analysis, and building basic prediction models is preferred.



The majority of the Manager’s formal workload will be spent coordinating with a single major client around a web-based sponsorship governance portal, so a competence with basic user experience (UX) principles and the ability to facilitate front-end edits and updates within the software framework will be critical. In addition, the Manager will be expected to lead weekly meetings and maintain clear lines of communication between all sponsorship stakeholders.



The Manager should have a general understanding of sports, sports business, and the sponsorship marketplace. Preference will be given to candidates that have familiarity with syndicated market research, survey design and administration, measurement related to broadcast, digital, and social media, and calculation of ROI around sponsorship deals.


Responsibilities (summary):

  • Provide day-to-day management of major brand client’s sponsorship governance process via web-based portal
  • Support the Director of Data & Insights with development of research and analytics offerings and business development initiatives for LSE
  • Provide creative input and technical support for data analysis projects (including data capture, data manipulation, and prediction modeling)
  • Provide administerial support for L+ Analytics communications, requests, and projects
  • Support the L+ team with specific questions related to sponsorship strategy, asset valuation, deal negotiation, and ROI measurement
  • Maintain relationships with research/ data vendors and provide insight around new companies and offerings in the marketplace
  • Use internal research tools and subscriptions (e.g. syndicated consumer research cross-tabulation services, social listening tools, etc.) to support strategy and reporting for all LSE client initiatives
