Job description

Management of the Asia controlling team


·         Provide timely and accurate financial analysis to CFO, Local Management & our Global Headquarter

·         Facilitate communication between your team and BU management / Department Heads

·         Motivate and line manage multiple direct reports


Reporting and Analysis: Actuals / Budget / Forecast


•         Deliver timely, high quality and influential management information while ensuring finance process efficiency. Financial information to be analysed: P&L, BS, Off-BS and CF statement

•         Manage monthly closing process as well as budget and reforecast processes.

•         Review cash forecast prepared by finance managers in respective regions

•         Develop, communicate and implement clear management reporting requirements, policies and timetables for the operating businesses including providing advice to finance teams and resolving queries on a timely basis.


Guardian of the rules and continuous improvement


•         Identify and implement system and procedural enhancements for the Company (eg see implementation of a new ERP at LSA) / working on the department organization

•         Develop new reports and dashboard, active data management and structuring

•         Assist in any special projects as required (M&A, Investment business plans, systems & process improvement…)

•         Help manage external / internal audit process




Key Competencies required for this position


·         Degree holder in Finance or Accounting and approximately 7 -10 years working experience in financial accounting and administration ideally in a regional position.

·         Extensive knowledge of generally accepted standard accounting principles, established procedures, departmental guidelines, and regulatory requirements applicable to the work

·         High level of the tax matter and experience of withholding tax being a plus.

·         Ability to work to strict deadlines and outside regular hours as the nature of the industry demands.

·         Experience with SAP Solutions is a definite advantage

·         Analytical, proactive and independent. Advanced data management skills.

·         Advanced Microsoft Office 365 skills (Excel and Powerpoint being the minimum requirement)

·         Strong inter-personal skills essential and ability to work in cross-cultural environment.

·         Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

·         Ability to manage tasks independently with minimal guidance

·         Good business acumen and communication skills

·         Fluency in English
